Tharindu Nuranga Idunil
Tharindu founded Sidhan Education & Migration in 2014 as a young entrepreneur, launching operations at just 26 years old. Now 45, he brings nearly two decades of business leadership to the company. A former banker at Pan Asia Bank, he brought deep financial insight and disciplined, structured professionalism into his ventures. He built the company on his firm belief that Sri Lanka holds immense untapped potential in travel and hospitality. His goal was to inject high-level corporate professionalism, structured customer care, and reliable standards into the local tourist transport and guiding industry.
Since inception, he has actively transformed the company from a boutique tour operator into a highly diversified private enterprise with interests spanning tourism, gem exports, MICE travel, global education services, and visa consultancy.
What He Has Built
From tourism to education — a journey of strategic diversification and relentless growth.
MICE & Business Travel
Built a massive corporate network facilitating major business travel and outbound MICE tourism. Under his direction, the company annually takes groups of around 200 Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to China's Canton Fair to forge international trade partnerships.
Global Education Services
In December 2023, expanded into higher education by opening a new head office in Haig Road, Bambalapitiya. Partnering with international bodies, the company now provides student visa processing and consulting for universities in China, the UK, Japan, and Europe.
Global Visa & Fleet Management
Expanded core operations to offer comprehensive business and leisure visa services worldwide, while building an elite in-house transit fleet of modern vehicles (all under five years from manufacturing) managed by licensed, multilingual chauffeur guides.
